Cop Killer: Luis Enrique Monroy-Bracamonte A.K.A. Marcelo Marquez

Luis Enrique Monroy-Bracamonte, 34, is suspected in the murder of two deputy sheriff's in California on Oct. 24. The accused killer goes by the name of Marcelo Marquez, because he's gotten into some trouble in the U.S. dating back to the mid 1990s. The name Marquez is said to be his wife's last name, his brother Hector Monroy claims.

Monroy-Bracamonte and his wife Janelle Marquez Monroy are both charged in the double-murder rampage. Other charges they've been given include attempted murder against several other deputies, and stealing a deputy's shotgun.

Many people around the country are trying to figure out why both husband and wife would go on to kill these innocent officers. Monroy-Bracamonte has been arrested in the past for petty thefts and traffic violations in Utah and Arizona. Marcicopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, of Arizona, says Marquez slipped through the cracks.

Monroy-Bracamonte has been deported twice back to Mexico, but always found his way back to the states. He and his wife are facing the death penalty if convicted. They haven't entered any pleas, and told the judge that they can't afford lawyers. So you know who's paying these fees; the taxpayers.

So these two can come to the United States, kill police officers, and then have taxpayers of California pay for their legal fees; Only in America.

This is a travesty, and there needs to be some changes in the system. Illegal deportees shouldn't find their way back to the U.S. after numerous arrest. Now two officers are dead because these two murderers slipped through the cracks from immigration officials.

Kaci Hickox Still Poses a Extreme Threat

Kaci Hickox, 33, was granted access to the public by Maine's District Court Chief Judge Charles LaVerdiere on Friday. The ruling has become very controversial around the country, and Hickox defiance towards government authorities has been also made headlines this week in the news.

Hickox is a nurse from Maine who treated Ebola patients in Sierra Leone. So when she returned back to the U.S., she was forced by government officials to an Ebola quarantine. Hickox resisted, but she was put into an isolation tent because of an elevated temperature in Newark Liberty International Airport.

Governors Andrew Cuomo and Chris Christie only wanted to make sure that Hickox didn't contract the Ebola virus while in West Africa. Kaci Hickox hired a lawyer because she felt that her civil liberties has been taken away, and argues that she isn't sick. However, that's all good and well, but the country is very scared and nervous of this deadly disease that has killed nearly 5,000 people.

Americans knew there would come a day that Ebola would make its here. So with Hickox deifying authorities, this is making the country even more nervous. They think she's a carrier and that she'll spread the disease to others, and it will start out in her small town in Maine. However, Hickox has tested negative for the virus twice, but it can still appear in her body within 21 days.

This was the reason why the government wants to take precaution with health practitioners returning home from West Africa. They just want to make sure that they aren't carrying the deadly disease, and would like them to be quarantined for 21 days. Now, returning health officials can do this from the comfort of their own homes.

The Ebola virus is just a sensitive topic to talk about right now, because everyone is scared, they're on edge, and just not educated enough on this disease.

Many think that they can catch Ebola as if it were airborne, but it's not. That's far from the truth, but the tension will keep arising as long as this virus is in our country.

Oscar Pistorius is Now a Disgraced Former Olympian

Oscar Pistorius was once considered a beloved sprinter in his hometown Johannesburg, South Africa, but now he's known as a murderer. Pistorius was found guilty in September for culpable homicide, and is currently serving a five-year prison sentence in Petoria, South Africa.

Oscar Pistorius was first introduced to the public for being selected as the first double leg amputee to participate in the Olympics. In the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Oscar Pistorius competed in the 400 metres race, finishing in second place. South Africa has now got its new face for sports, and Pistorius was honored to carry the South African flag for the closing ceremony.

But his celebrity all came to an end on that fateful Valentine's Day in 2013, where Oscar Pistorius shot and killed his girlfriend of three months, Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius claimed that he shot her because he thought she was an intruder, and he got overwhelmed and nervous. Reeva's mother has gone on record as saying that "Pistorius always had it in him to kill someone, but it just happened to be my daughter". He was even called "trigger happy" by June Steenkamp, 68.

In his trial the defense claimed that Oscar Pistorius suffered from anxiety disorder, which I think was just a way to justify the killing of his girlfriend. This happens to sicken me when someone commits murder, then they try to find any avenue to justify why they killed in the first place. Many times than none, the jury reads right through the bull, and go with the evidence.

The former Olympian seems to have gotten off quiet easy by the courts. He's eligible to be released from prison in just 11 months for his crimes. I personally think in no time he will get right back into sprinting, and wouldn't be surprised if he's competing in the Summer Paralympics again.

In prison, Oscar Pistorius will spend a few months housed in a hospital for the disabled, but many prisoners are not taking this well. They believe that he's getting preferential treatment because he's a famous person.

It just goes to show you that when you are famous, people tend to give you another chance, even if that means committing a heinous crime like murder.

The Body Count: 7 Women Found Dead in Hammond and Gary, Indiana

Suspected serial killer Darren Vann, 43, was arrested Friday night after a woman was found strangled at a Motel 6 in Hammond, Indiana. Mr. Vann has been officially charged today with the murder of these 7 women that were found. Darren Vann has been very cooperative with police, and gave them the locations of all the women that were killed.

Everyone is wondering right now, on why he's coming forth with all of this information. Maybe it's obvious or not, but he's looking to make a deal with police. Darren Vann doesn't want to face the death penalty. So by being cooperative and telling police where these women are located, he feels that he can escape what is inevitable.

Mr. Vann is being proactive in such a disgusting sick way. Gary and Hammond, Indiana is facing their worst nightmare right now, that's in their own backyard. Having a serial killer lurking, raping, and killing these young women has put this state on edge.

The two women that have been identified are Afrikka Hardy, 19, and Anith Jones, 35. The other five women haven't been identified as of yet, but there has been missing person reports on some of these women recently.

Darren Vann isn't originally from the Gary, Indiana area. This is a predator that made his mark in Texas when he was convicted for a sex offense on attacking a 25-year-old woman.

I'm just glad that law enforcement made the proper arrest of this alleged monster, and got him off the street. I hope he doesn't get the deal he's looking for, because he made sure that he didn't give these women a chance to live.

Even if they were prostitutes or drug addicts, they were still people. Every hour that's going by, more information is coming out of this horrific story in Gary, Indiana.

Who is Eric Frein? The Pennsylvania State Trooper Killer

The whole country is still trying to wrap their heads around on finding out more of who is Eric Frein? This 31-year-old man is still on the run for killing a Pennsylvania State Trooper and wounding another one. We want to know why he decided to attack law enforcement, and what was his whole motive behind it.

There are many stories being told about Frein, but the stories aren't really unfolding the main reasons why a Pennsylvania man can just open fire at state troopers for no apparent reason. Maybe this is a just a game for Frein, who knows.

Eric Frien is a man that kept to himself, was found to be a bit weird, and didn't have much friends. In his adulthood, he would work sporadically like at a grocery store, or teaching archery.

Eric Frein isn't your normal killer per se, meaning that when we hear about someone that kills, you usually find out the reasons behind it. With Frein, it is only said that he had it out for the government and didn't care much for cops. But what did the cops do to him in the past to make him kill? That's the big question out there, and no answer has been given.

Right now, it's been five weeks since the shooting took place in the Poconos, and Eric Frein is still hiding out in the woods as claimed by law enforcement. It is believed that he'll be caught soon because the cold is starting to come in, and he wouldn't be able to survive without gaining more supplies. The media has put out there to the public that Eric Frein is a survivalist, and can make it in the woods for a long time.

But in the Pocono Mountains the black bears will be coming out, and will be very hungry. If Frein is still out there, who knows if he'll be able to survive that.

But I think this is all a smoke screen created by law enforcement for us to think that they're going to capture Frein soon, but I'm guessing they don't even know if he's still in the Mountains. All we know is that Eric Frein has probably already headed south, because of the warm climate.

The FBI and law enforcement are looking in the wrong area and need to put focus on other places in the country. Eric Frein wants you to think that he's still in the woods, but he's a survivalist, and he won't stay in a small area where he could get caught.

Eric Frein learned his marksmanship from his father, who was a army major. His father says "his son doesn't miss his shot". That's pretty scary to hear from a army veteran. That just confirms his son is a stone cold killer, and he wouldn't hesitate to kill again. His father knows a lot more than he lets on. He probably knew that his son Eric would go after the police, but to shoot them down with a high powered rifle, who knows.

It's only so long that he can elude capture, and I hope he's brought to justice, because when you kill someone you should pay the price. It wouldn't surprise me if Eric Frein is killed in a blaze of glory with police, so he won't be detained and sent off to jail and face execution.

The Mystery Still Remains: What Killed a Family of 5 in Utah Home

The mystery just seems to continue on the deaths of 5 family members in Utah. The Strack family lived near the Salt Lake City area and were considered quiet people. In late September, the Strack's older son which is 18, found his family members dead in their bedroom. He then called 911, and emergency response was on their way to discover this horrific scene.

This is such a tragedy in itself, but it doesn't due any justice that five people can be found dead, and there are very little answers to what happened. The only thing we know for now is, that violence and carbon dioxide was ruled out. So what killed this family of 5 then?

It will take another week or two to get the answers that the family, residents of the community, and the country have been seeking for almost a month now.

In my opinion, I think it was a murder-suicide that killed this family. The reason I say this is because the husband and wife had money issues that they were facing for years now. We all know that in this country, lack of money is a big issue for many families, and some don't know how to face it head-on, and sometimes bad things may occur because of it.

My heart goes out to these three kids that were taken off this earth so soon. At the tender ages of 14, 12, and 11, they had a lot more living to do. There are stories saying that the family may have drank something that would've killed them. So right now, toxicologists are looking into that, and not ruling out other suspicious activities. I just can't believe that we as a country, haven't been given the proper facts of this story, and that it is taking so long get results.

I get it, proper protocol needs to be taken, but when a family of 5 die in the same day at home, and there wasn't any violent struggle or carbon dioxide, what could it be then? Let's just stay tuned because we will get the answers we need very shortly.

Ebola: The Virus That Has The World Shaken

This is a frightening disease that is scaring everyone around the world, but now, it has hit home in the United States. I'm still trying to comprehend this virus, and how a person can contract this deadly disease. The research that I've done, says that Ebola can only be contracted through bodily fluids, and it isn't an airborne disease as many Americans think.

Living in New York City, we happen to be an overpopulated place, with over 10 million people living here. New Yorkers know exactly what I'm talking about right here. So many people are scared that if someone coughs they can be affected by this disease, which is just ludicrous if you ask me.

I understand the concern, because trust me I have them too. But that's what happens when a virus hits home, many people start to panic and get all riled up.

To understand the virus, you have to know when and where it all started. Ebola outbreaks started back in 1976, in Africa, and at that time, they only had a few cases of the virus. Many people have been hearing the name Ebola, but they don't know how the disease started.

This deadly virus comes from Fruit Bats in Africa. These are bats that are holding the disease, and have now affected mammals of all kinds. That's all how the disease started to spread to humans in Africa.

Decades ago, we as Americans didn't even know about a virus called "Ebola". The country was busy fighting diseases such as HIV, AIDS, and Cancer. These are the diseases we've known for so long, and have been fighting for a cure for many years now. To have this disease appear in our country is just sad, scary, and there needs to be answers for this.

The Ebola outbreak has been going full force this year in West Africa. There has been over 4,000 deaths already, and the numbers seems to increase by the day. If you come into contact with this virus, you have a 50-90% chance of dying. Right now, the FDA hasn't approved a vaccine for the Ebola virus. But when they do, and hopefully soon, many lives will be saved because of this drug.

For the past few weeks, the United States has been put on a high alert, because Thomas Eric Duncan unknowingly came into the country having contracted the virus from Liberia. Unfortunately, he died last week as he was fighting for his life, but the disease got the best of him. I hope that everyone stays safe, and this deadly disease can be contained.
